About Me
I'm Josh — a Senior Solution Designer at Virgin Money, where I work at the intersection of AI, cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale automation. My job is to take complex business problems and turn them into systems that actually work in production, not just on a whiteboard.
I specialise in Power Platform, AI strategy, and cloud architecture. Over the years I've worked across consultancies and large enterprises, designing solutions that span multiple verticals. That cross-industry perspective is one of my biggest assets — patterns that solve problems in financial services often unlock breakthroughs elsewhere, and vice versa.
What drives me is bridging the gap between what's technically possible and what's practically valuable. AI is transforming how enterprises operate, but only when it's integrated thoughtfully into the right architecture. I help organisations figure out not just what they can do with AI, but what's worth doing — and then I help them build it.
Outside of work, I'm based just outside Glasgow with my wife and our two young daughters. I speak English and Spanish, and I'm currently spending my spare time renovating a campervan — a project that's teaching me as much about patience as it is about plumbing.

What Makes Me Different
AI + Enterprise Scale
I don't just build AI demos — I integrate AI into enterprise architecture at scale. From strategy through to production, making sure it delivers real ROI, not just a proof of concept.
Power Platform Depth
Governance, canvas apps, code-first approaches — I go deep on Power Platform. It's what I teach on my YouTube channel Power Squared and what I build with every day.
Builder, Not Just Advisor
I don't hand over a document and walk away. I architect, build, and deliver. From strategy through to production — I stay involved until the thing is live and working.
Speaking & Community
I regularly share what I'm learning through conference talks, community events, and my YouTube channel. In 2026, I'm speaking at D365PPUG and EPPC, and running an all-day workshop at EOEPPC on Power Platform governance and architecture.
I've spoken at user groups across the UK, covering everything from enterprise automation to AI strategy to vibe coding. I'm also involved in the Scottish Power Platform community, helping build a space where practitioners share real-world experience and practical knowledge.
